ABOUT US
Total Body Rehabilitation is dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality physical therapy services provided by licensed professionals. Our mission revolves around improving the lives of individuals residing in the Sharkey, Issaquena, Lower Washington County, Western Humphreys, and Yazoo County areas of the Lower Mississippi Delta. We are committed to helping our community members regain their ability to function effectively within their homes or living environments through our comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Established in 2020 and registered in the state of Mississippi, Total Body Rehabilitation, LLC operates from our base in Rolling Fork. Our founder and owner, Dr. Kiona Dorsey, PT/DPT, boasts an impressive 16 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist in the state of Mississippi. This wealth of expertise underscores our commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients.
Our journey began in a mobile home located just outside of Rolling Fork, where we treated our very first patient in June 2021. Demonstrating our dedication to growth and community support, we took a significant step in June 2022 by relocating to a newly renovated facility at 70 Delta Street, which previously served as an old cotton gin elevator. This move allowed us to expand our services and enhance the quality of care we provide.
However, our resilience was truly put to the test when, in March 2023, our newly established facility sustained severe damage from an EF4 tornado. Undeterred by this setback, we remained committed to our mission and, in July 2023, completed the renovation of a small office building on the same property. This endeavor reflects our unwavering determination to continue serving our community, even in the face of adversity.
Total Body Rehabilitation, LLC, stands as a beacon of hope and healing in the Mississippi Delta region, committed to providing top-tier physical therapy services and supporting the well-being of our community members. Our journey may have faced challenges, but our resolve remains stronger than ever as we strive to help our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain their highest level of functionality. We look forward to continuing our mission and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
